About Alpha Team

Built on tar.
Held by brotherhood.

Who we are

A litre-class brotherhood.

Alpha Team is a private motorcycle club of 44 riders united by two badges: BMW S1000RR and Ducati. We are doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs, tradesmen and creatives who leave the title at the gate and ride as equals.

Our name is a statement, not a label. The "A" stands for attitude, accountability and the aggression we bring to the road — controlled, disciplined, never reckless.

The road so far

History written in kilometres.

2018

The spark

A handful of Gauteng superbike owners met on a Sunday run and agreed: no filler, no noise — just litre-class machines and real brotherhood.

2019

The line forms

Alpha Team rides its first organised pass run as a closed club, wearing red, black and chrome colours.

2021

SADC wide

Weekend invasions stretch across provincial borders, linking with like-minded riders in Botswana, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.

2023

Forty-four strong

The bench closes at 44 riders — a deliberate number built on trust, not volume.

2026

Next chapter

Bigger charity drives, rider mentorship and official sponsorship partnerships push Alpha Team beyond weekend rides.

What we stand for

Ride your own ride. Never ride alone.

We are not a riding school, a stunting crew or a social media club. Alpha Team is a discipline-first brotherhood: full gear, pre-ride checks, staggered formation and a no-drop policy on every run.

  • BMW S1000RR and Ducati machines only
  • Closed membership by invitation and probation
  • SADC-wide weekend invasions and pass runs
  • Family-first calendar with planned ride breaks
  • Community impact through charity drives

Where we're going

The next invasion.

Alpha Team is moving from weekend runs to a year-round SADC superbike movement. We are opening structured charity partnerships, a junior-mentor track for safe new riders, and curated sponsor events that put the club's name behind premium brands without selling the brotherhood.

SADC tours

Multi-day border runs mapped for safety, scenery and solid fuel stops.

Mentorship

Seasoned riders guiding newer members on machine control and road etiquette.

Brand days

Track experiences, product launches and exclusive sponsor ride-outs.

Charity & community

We ride, we give back.

Alpha Team's "Charity Houses" initiative turns every big ride into a community mission. Members pool funds and sponsor goods for identified homes, shelters and families across Gauteng and neighbouring provinces.

Past drives include water deliveries to under-resourced households, school stationery packs and holiday grocery runs. The club does not publicise recipients without consent — the gesture matters more than the post.
